Of the 24 counties in Maryland, Talbot County had the most land for sale. The most expensive property listed for sale in Maryland on Lands of America recently was $15 million, although the median price for land and rural real estate for sale in Maryland came in at $599,820. The average price of land, homesites and other rural acreage for sale in Maryland was $867,851. There was 87 acres of sold land in Maryland recorded last month through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects an increase in sales activity over data from July 2018. The total value of this sold land and rural real estate was $5.4 million. Talbot County recorded the most land sales recently in the state.
